The Importance of Thinking Time As a Healer

Entrepreneurs who are transformational coaches and consultants possess a unique mission: to bring healing, health, and wellness to others. Amidst the demands of their practices and running a business, it becomes even more vital for them to prioritize moments of intentional thinking and reflection. In this blog post, we'll explore why taking the time to sit and think is especially crucial for these entrepreneurs and how it can fuel their personal growth, enhance their healing abilities, and contribute to the well-being of their clients.

1. Cultivating Intuition and Empathy:

Transformational coaches and consultants rely on their intuition and empathy to connect with their clients on a deep level. By setting aside dedicated thinking time, they create space to tap into your inner wisdom, allowing your intuition to guide them in understanding your clients' needs more profoundly while also solving your complex business challenges. This reflection helps nurture and strengthen both your empathetic abilities, enabling them to provide more compassionate and effective healing experiences, and your business acumen.

2. Deepening Healing Modalities:

Transformational coaches and consultants often integrate multiple modalities into their practice. However, exploring new techniques and refining existing ones requires thoughtful reflection. Taking the time to sit and think allows these entrepreneurs to critically assess their methods, evaluate their effectiveness, and seek innovative ways to deepen their transformational modalities. This introspective process can lead to the discovery of unique approaches and the continuous evolution of their practice.

3. Maintaining Balance and Self-Care:

Transformational coaches and consultants prioritize the well-being of others. However, it's essential not to neglect self-care and personal balance. Thinking time provides a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs to reflect on their own needs, assess their energy levels, and recharge their own spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. By nourishing themselves, they can sustain their ability to serve others and maintain the vitality required for their healing practices.

4. Visionary Expansion and Growth:

Transformational coaches and consultants often possess a deep sense of purpose and a desire to create positive change in the world. However, translating these aspirations into a thriving business requires intentional reflection. By dedicating time to sit and think, these entrepreneurs can envision the future trajectory of their practices, set meaningful goals, and develop strategic plans to expand their impact. Thoughtful reflection empowers them to align their vision with tangible actions, fostering sustainable growth and fulfilling their mission on a larger scale.

For entrepreneurs, the act of sitting and thinking becomes an invaluable tool for personal and professional growth. It nurtures their intuition, deepens their healing modalities, supports self-care, and fuels their visionary expansion. By prioritizing thoughtful reflection, these entrepreneurs can amplify their abilities, provide transformative experiences for their clients, and contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities. Let us embrace the power of intentional and create a world where transformational services and entrepreneurship go hand in hand, fostering profound positive change.

12 Things to Think About:

  1. Your life is designed to get you the results you are getting right now. For the trajectory to change, the approach must change.

  2. Never forget this: We really do need the help of others to become who we are capable of being. (Who were the three most influential people in your life when you were 18?)

  3. Problems and obstacles never stand still. Acknowledging this should be fuel to encourage you to continue to improve.

  4. Fast is rough. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. (Fast is executing on ideas and not plans, which usually end up with disastrous or at least rough results.) How do we make it smooth? Eliminating drama.  Have a plan and process in place that minimizes people doing something they shouldn’t be doing or not doing something they should be doing but are not doing.

  5. No amount of IQ is going to change the fact that all your knowledge is about the past and all your decisions are about the future. Things that have never happened before, are happening all the time.

  6. You don’t lift weights once and get strong. You don’t eat right for a meal and become fit. You don’t do the right thing once and create a lifelong habit. It would be great if it worked that way, but it doesn’t. …Training is NOT exposure. Training requires repetition, evaluation, adjustment, and repetition. It is important to practice even the basics (the little things, like basketball free throws) with everyone, including the leaders, like Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods.

  7. “Predicting rain doesn’t count. Building an ark does.” Warren Buffet... Winter is coming (it’s always coming), but what position are you in when the problems start? Bad economies don’t cause businesses to fail; they expose weak businesses.

  8. The greatest impediment to knowledge is not ignorance. It’s the illusion of knowledge. Some amount of time should be spent doing a litmus test about what some of the stories I’m telling are.

  9. You get what you pay for.

  10. Never execute on an idea, only execute on a plan.

  11. If you were a millionaire investor in your business, what would you say to yourself?

  12. Progress: Measure progress from the origin, not the proximity to the destination.
